First time here? Here’s what to expect!

We don’t just think that God can change a person’s life – we know it, because we have experienced it ourselves. We hope that you will stop by to worship with us. We also know that walking into a new place – even a new church – for the first time can be a little overwhelming, so here are some things you might want to know.

What are the people like?

The wonderful group of believers who worship here at Faith Fellowship are warm and welcoming. It’s not uncommon for a smiling face to greet you every few minutes when you first arrive. We know that you are loved and valued by God – so we want to make sure you know you are loved and valued by us as well!

What should I wear?

You’ll find that we’re a fairly casual group of people. Sure, there are a few who come in their “Sunday best,” but you’re just as likely to find someone more comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt. Don’t worry too much about what to wear – you’ll fit right in.

What is worship like?

Our regular worship service is on Sunday mornings at 10:45am. The music is a mix of hymns and choruses, and lyrics are generally projected onto a screen – so your hands will be free for worship.

Pastor Norita and Paul Marshall employ a conversational teaching style when they preach, and both have a huge heart for taking you deep into the text for a clear understanding of God’s word.

Children under age 12 usually leave the sanctuary for Children’s Church right after the music, but we have activities for them if you prefer to keep them in worship with you. At least once a month, all kids join the adults in the main worship service for intergenerational worship.

Listening assistance devices are available – just ask a greeter for assistance.

Do you have childcare during worship and events?

During our worship service, childcare in our nursery is available for children up to the age of 4. For ages 4-12, we have Children’s Church on most Sundays. Children are always welcome in the regular church worship service, if you prefer to keep your family with you – we even have some activities for them do during service. Once a month we have intergenerational worship, when all of the children join the adults in the regular worship service.

Childcare is usually available at church events, but you should check the event details or contact the church with questions about a specific event.

Do you serve Communion?

We serve Communion every quarter or so. As Nazarenes, we practice “open Communion” – that means that guests are welcome to participate in Communion, even if they are not part of our church or our denomination.

Because we have members with gluten allergies, our Communion service is 100% gluten free.

How about Sunday School?

We have traditional Sunday School for adults and children on Sunday mornings at 9:45am. We also have several groups that meet throughout the week, so check our Service Times and Calendar for events.
